The 3rd Officer is a key member of the deck team on our Oil/chemical tanker vessels. This role involves navigating the vessel safely and efficiently. The 3rd Officer will also be responsible for cargo operations and deck maintenance.
The 3rd Officer's day-to-day duties include navigating the vessel using electronic and traditional methods, monitoring cargo tank levels and temperatures, and performing regular safety inspections. The 3rd Officer will also be responsible for updating navigation charts and publications, and maintaining the vessel's safety equipment. Additionally, the 3rd Officer will participate in drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness in emergency situations.

Requirements
- OKHold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- OKHave at least 12 months of experience as a junior officer on a tanker vessel
- OKHold a valid STCW Basic Training certificate
- OKHave a good understanding of tanker operations and safety procedures
- OKBe able to communicate effectively in English
