The 4th Engineer is a key member of the engine department on our Oil/chemical tanker vessels. This role involves maintaining and operating the ship's engines and associated equipment. The 4th Engineer will work under the supervision of the Chief Engineer to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The day-to-day duties of the 4th Engineer include performing routine maintenance and repairs on engines, pumps, and other equipment, as well as monitoring and analyzing performance data to optimize vessel operations. The 4th Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and for participating in safety drills and training exercises. Additionally, the 4th Engineer will work closely with other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo.

Requirements
- OKMust hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 4th Engineer.
- OKMust have at least 2 years of experience working on Oil/chemical tankers or similar vessels.
- OKMust have a strong understanding of engine maintenance and repair procedures.
- OKMust be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with other crew members.
- OKMust hold a valid medical certificate and be physically fit for work at sea.
