Role overview
The Able Seaman role on a Pipe lay vessel involves supporting the deck team with various tasks to ensure safe and efficient operations. This includes maintaining the vessel's deck and superstructure, as well as assisting with pipe laying activities. The role requires a strong understanding of maritime operations and safety protocols.
As an Able Seaman on this vessel, your day-to-day duties will include performing maintenance and repair tasks, standing watch, and participating in safety drills. You will also be responsible for handling mooring lines, cranes, and other deck equipment. Additionally, you will assist with cargo operations, including loading and unloading pipes and other equipment.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid STCW Certificate of Competency as an Able Seaman.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as an Able Seaman on a similar type of vessel.
- Must have a valid medical certificate and be physically fit for duty at sea.
- Must have strong knowledge of maritime safety procedures and protocols.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
