You will stand watch, oversee bridge operations, and ensure proper documentation of cargo handling. The role also involves conducting inspections, drills, and reporting any deficiencies to the Captain.

Requirements

  • OK- Chief Mate Certificate of Competency (CoC) with bulk carrier endorsement, STCW 2010
  • OK- Minimum 3 years sea service as Chief Officer or 2nd Mate on bulk carriers
  • OK- Valid MED A medical certificate and Seafarer’s Identity Document
  • OK- Proficiency in cargo handling plans, stability calculations, and watch‑keeping procedures
  • OK- Good command of English, both written and spoken
