You will work closely with the Master to ensure compliance with all maritime regulations and company policies. The role involves overseeing deck crew performance and maintaining watchkeeping standards.
Daily duties include planning and supervising loading and discharge of bulk cargo, conducting stability calculations, and managing the deck watch schedule. You will conduct regular safety inspections, maintain deck equipment, and ensure proper documentation of cargo and ship’s logs. Coordination with the shoreside team for voyage planning and reporting is also required.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 95/96 certification with Chief Officer (Deck) endorsement and valid COC for bulk carriers
- OKMinimum 3,000 GT experience as Chief Officer or Senior Officer on bulk carriers
- OKProven knowledge of cargo handling, stability and load line regulations
- OKStrong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
- OKMedical fitness certificate and ability to pass drug test
