Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Chemical tanker. This role involves overseeing cargo operations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for maintaining the vessel's deck and superstructure.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising cargo loading and discharging, maintaining deck equipment and stores, and conducting safety drills and training exercises. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for navigating the vessel and maintaining its position and course. Additionally, the Chief Officer will oversee the maintenance and repair of deck equipment and machinery.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer on a Chemical tanker.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a Chemical tanker.
- Valid medical certificate and proof of completion of mandatory STCW training courses.
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, including ISM and ISPS codes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with crew members and shore-based staff.
