Daily duties include supervising deck crew during cargo operations, maintaining cargo documentation, and overseeing watchkeeping, navigation, and safety drills. You will conduct regular inspections of cargo tanks, pipelines and safety equipment, and report any discrepancies to the Master. Coordination with shoreside operations for cargo planning and emergency response is also required.

Requirements
- OKValid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (COC) for oil/chemical tankers, STCW 2010 endorsement
- OKMinimum 3 years service as Chief Officer or 5 years as senior deck officer on chemical tankers
- OKProven experience with hazardous chemical cargo operations, including loading, discharge and segregation
- OKFamiliarity with IMO regulations, MARPOL and the company Safety Management System
- OKGood command of English, both written and spoken; ability to lead a multicultural crew
