Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for maintaining the vessel's deck and superstructure.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, monitoring cargo tank levels, and performing safety drills. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, including cargo documents and safety logs. Additionally, the Chief Officer will participate in navigational watches and contribute to the overall safety and efficiency of the vessel.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer on a tanker vessel.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a crude oil tanker.
- Valid medical certificate and proof of completion of tanker familiarization course.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
