Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This role involves overseeing cargo operations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to achieve these goals.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, maintaining deck equipment, and managing cargo operations. They will also be responsible for navigating the vessel, using electronic chart display systems and other navigation tools. Additionally, the Chief Officer will participate in drills and training exercises to maintain emergency preparedness.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer on a crude oil tanker
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a tanker vessel
- Valid medical certificate and proof of completion of required training courses
- Strong knowledge of cargo operations, safety procedures, and environmental regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with crew members
