Daily duties include supervising deck crew during loading and discharge, conducting watch‑keeping and bridge navigation, and maintaining all safety equipment and records. You will also oversee stability calculations, watch the ship’s log, and coordinate with the engine department on maneuvering plans. Reporting to the Captain, you will conduct regular drills and ensure compliance with MARPOL and ISM codes.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 2010 Basic Safety Training and Chief Mate’s Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- OKMinimum 3 years experience as Chief Officer or 5 years as Senior Deck Officer on a general cargo vessel
- OKProven knowledge of cargo handling, stability and load line regulations
- OKValid medical certificate and drug test clearance
- OKGood command of English, both written and spoken
