Role overview
The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining cranes on a General Cargo Vessel. This role requires a high level of technical skill and physical ability. The Crane Operator will work closely with other deck crew members to ensure safe and efficient cargo operations.
The day-to-day duties of the Crane Operator will include operating cranes to load and discharge cargo, performing routine maintenance and repairs on crane equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Crane Operator will also be responsible for inspecting crane wire ropes and lubricating moving parts. Additionally, the Crane Operator will assist with other deck operations as needed.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW certificate for crane operation
- Valid medical certificate
- 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator on a cargo vessel
- Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
