The Electrician will maintain and repair all electrical equipment on a modern passenger ship, ensuring safe operation for guests and crew. Work is performed under the Deck Department’s supervision and follows strict maritime standards.

Daily duties include troubleshooting power distribution panels, servicing lighting and HVAC systems, and performing preventive maintenance on generators and emergency power supplies. The role also involves installing new equipment during dry‑dock periods and keeping detailed maintenance logs. All work must comply with safety procedures and be coordinated with other deck and engineering staff.
