The Electro‑Technical Officer will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all electrical and electronic equipment aboard a 8,000‑TEU container ship. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and deck crew to ensure power generation, navigation, and communication systems run smoothly.
Daily duties include routine inspection of generators, switchboards and automation systems, troubleshooting faults, and coordinating repairs with onboard technicians. You will also monitor battery banks, maintain alarm panels, and keep detailed logs of all technical activities. Participation in planned maintenance checks and emergency drills is required.

Requirements
- OK- STCW 95/96 Electrical Engineer Certificate of Competency (or equivalent)
- OK- Minimum 2 years experience as ETO on container or bulk carrier
- OK- Proficiency with PLC, SCADA and radar/communication systems
- OK- Valid medical certificate and seafarer’s identity document
- OK- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
