Role overview
The ETO is a key member of the crew responsible for maintaining and operating electrical and electronic equipment on a Crude oil tanker. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently. The ETO will be part of the vessel's technical team.
The ETO's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems, troubleshooting equipment faults, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The ETO will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs. Additionally, the ETO will provide technical support to other crew members as needed.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as an Electro-Technical Officer
- At least 2 years of experience as an ETO on a tanker vessel
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including navigation and communication equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
