The Electro‑Technical Officer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment aboard a modern LPG carrier. This includes power generation, navigation, communication and cargo handling systems. The role ensures compliance with classification society standards and company policies.
Day‑to‑day duties involve routine inspections, fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of generators, switchboards, automation and control panels. The ETO will coordinate with the chief engineer on planned overhauls and manage spare parts inventory. He/she will also support the bridge team with electronic navigation and communication equipment.

Requirements

- OK- STCW “Electro‑Technical Officer” certificate and valid COC.

- OK- Proficiency with PLC, SCADA, and shipboard automation systems.
- OK- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
- OK- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
