Role overview
The IT Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining all IT systems on a Passenger ship. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of computer networks, hardware, and software. The IT Manager will also provide technical support to crew members.
The IT Manager's day-to-day duties will include troubleshooting IT issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and installing new software and hardware as needed. The IT Manager will also be responsible for managing the ship's internet and network systems, as well as providing technical support for onboard entertainment and hospitality systems. Additionally, the IT Manager will ensure that all IT systems are compliant with relevant maritime regulations.
