Role overview
The Master is responsible for the overall operation and navigation of the Bulk carrier, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of cargo. The Master will oversee all deck operations, including cargo handling and maintenance. The vessel will operate globally, requiring the Master to be adaptable to various ports and environments.
The Master's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, managing the crew, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Master will also be responsible for monitoring weather conditions, managing fuel consumption, and maintaining communication with shore-based teams. Additionally, the Master will conduct regular drills and training exercises to maintain crew readiness and preparedness.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Master's certificate of competency issued by a recognized maritime authority.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a Bulk carrier or similar vessel type.
- Must have a strong understanding of international maritime regulations, including SOLAS and MARPOL.
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse crew.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
