Role overview
The Master is responsible for the overall operation and navigation of the Bulk carrier, ensuring safety and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership and decision-making skills to manage the crew and vessel. The Master must also comply with all relevant maritime regulations and laws.
The Master's day-to-day duties include navigating the vessel, managing cargo operations, and maintaining deck equipment. The Master is also responsible for conducting safety drills and training crew members. Additionally, the Master must maintain accurate records and logs, including navigation, cargo, and crew information.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Master's certificate of competency issued by a recognized maritime authority.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a Bulk carrier or similar vessel type.
- Must have completed all required STCW training and certification courses.
- Must have a strong understanding of international maritime laws and regulations, including SOLAS and MARPOL.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
