Role overview

The Master is responsible for the overall operation of the Container Ship, ensuring safe and efficient navigation. The Master will oversee all deck operations, including cargo handling and maintenance. The Master will also be responsible for compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

The Master's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, managing the crew, and making key decisions regarding safety and operational matters. The Master will also be responsible for conducting regular drills and training exercises to ensure crew readiness. The Master will maintain accurate records and logs, including navigation, cargo, and crew information.

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Master on a similar type of vessel
