The Master will be the overall commander of a Very Large Crude Carrier, responsible for safe navigation, cargo handling and compliance with international regulations. You will lead a multinational crew, oversee the vessel’s operational readiness and ensure the cargo is delivered on schedule.

Daily duties include planning and executing voyages, supervising watch officers, conducting bridge and engine room checks, and managing communications with shore offices and port authorities. You will oversee ballast operations, monitor weather routing and ensure all safety drills are performed correctly. The role also requires maintaining accurate logs, reporting incidents and coordinating maintenance as needed.
