Role details We are seeking a Design Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical) to join a specialist organisation within the marine engineering and consultancy sector, supporting the design and development of marine assets and technical systems.

Requirements

  • OKDegree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic.
  • OKEngineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • OKExperience using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or equivalent to produce accurate designs and detailed engineering drawings.
  • OKDemonstrable progression toward Engineering Council registration at Incorporated Engineer level or above.
  • OKGood working knowledge of marine machinery and/or electrical and electronic systems, such as propulsion, drivetrains, diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, seawater systems, navigation, communications, and control systems.
  • OKProficiency in standard IT tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office applications.
  • OKStrong command of spoken and written English.
  • OKFull rights to live and work in the UK.
