You will work under the supervision of the Chief Officer and gain hands‑on experience in navigation, cargo handling and safety procedures. This role is a stepping stone toward a full Deck Officer qualification.
Daily duties include standing watch on the bridge, assisting with passage planning and maintaining logbooks. You will support cargo operations, monitor hatch covers and ensure proper stowage. Participation in safety drills, equipment checks and watch‑keeping reports is also required.
