Role overview
We are seeking a Wiper to join our team on a Research vessel. As a Wiper on this vessel, you will be responsible for maintaining the engine room and supporting the engineering team. This is an entry-level position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Your day-to-day duties will include cleaning and maintaining engine room equipment, performing routine tasks as directed by the engineering team, and ensuring a safe and tidy working environment. You will also be required to participate in drills and training exercises as needed. Additionally, you will assist with storing and issuing spare parts and supplies.
