About seafarer jobs in Australia
Seafarer jobs in Australia include coastal shipping, offshore energy, harbour towage, ferries, research vessels and port operations. AMSA certification and Australian work rights are common requirements for domestic roles.
How to prepare your application
Review the applicable industrial agreement, roster, operating area, medical standard and AMSA certificate or recognition requirement. Offshore and high-speed craft roles may need additional training.
Credential and safety check
Confirm certificate recognition directly with AMSA and verify the employer's official contact details. Do not pay a third party to guarantee a maritime job.
