Daily duties include monitoring engine performance, conducting routine maintenance on main and auxiliary machinery, and supervising junior ratings during watch periods. You will also handle spare parts inventory, record keeping, and assist with planned overhauls. Emergency response and troubleshooting are key responsibilities.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 2010 Basic Safety Training and a valid 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- OKMinimum 2 years sea service as 2nd Engineer on a bulk carrier or similar vessel
- OKProven experience with low‑speed diesel engines, fuel oil systems and auxiliary plant
- OKAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and maintenance plans
- OKGood English communication skills and a valid medical certificate
