Daily duties involve monitoring engine performance, conducting routine inspections, and troubleshooting mechanical issues while at sea. You will supervise junior engine crew, manage spare parts inventory, and prepare daily and monthly technical reports. Coordination with the deck department for cargo operations and ballast management is also required.

Requirements
- OK- STCW 95, Engine Officer Certificate of Competency (2nd Engineer) valid for oil tankers
- OK- Minimum 3 years sea service as 2nd Engineer on crude oil or product tankers
- OK- Proficiency with diesel engine control, turbo‑chargers and auxiliary plant systems
- OK- Knowledge of MARPOL, ISM and ISPS regulations applicable to oil cargoes
- OK- Good command of English, both written and spoken
