Employer notes
The Messboy supports the deck crew on a modern container ship, handling food service and housekeeping tasks. You will work closely with the chief steward and deck officers to keep the galley and mess areas clean and functional.
Daily duties include preparing and serving meals, washing dishes, and maintaining inventory of provisions. You will also assist in cleaning common areas, disposing of waste, and helping with minor galley repairs. All work is performed under the supervision of the chief steward while adhering to shipboard safety rules.

- OKSTCW Basic Safety Training certificate
