Daily duties involve supervising the engine department crew, planning and executing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting any mechanical failures while at sea. You will monitor fuel consumption, manage spare parts inventory, and prepare technical reports for the shipowner. Coordination with the deck department for cargo operations and stability calculations is also required.

Requirements
- OKChief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (CEC) to 2nd class, approved for vessels ≥5,000 GT.
- OKSTCW 2nd Class Engineer endorsement (STCW 2/2).
- OKMinimum 3 years recent experience as Chief Engineer on cement carriers or similar bulk carriers.
- OKProven knowledge of MARPOL, SOLAS, and cargo-specific regulations for cement transport.
- OKFluent English, strong leadership skills, and ability to work independently.
