Daily duties include supervising watch‑keeping engineers, planning and executing maintenance schedules, and managing spare parts inventory. You will monitor plant performance, troubleshoot faults, and oversee repairs to minimise downtime. Reporting to the vessel’s Master and maintaining accurate technical logs are also key tasks.

Requirements
- OKSTCW “Engine Officer” certificate and a valid Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (COC) for oil/chemical tankers.
- OKMinimum 5 years’ experience as Chief Engineer on oil or chemical tankers.
- OKProven knowledge of IMO, MARPOL and ISGOTT regulations.
- OKStrong leadership and crew‑management skills, with fluency in English.
- OKAbility to use electronic engine monitoring and maintenance software.
