Requirements

  • OKValid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (CoC) on tankers (STCW 2010)
  • OKMinimum 3 years experience as Chief Officer or Senior Officer on oil or bitumen tankers
  • OKProven knowledge of bitumen cargo handling, heating systems and inert gas operations
  • OKAbility to lead deck crew, conduct drills and ensure ISM and MARPOL compliance
  • OKFluent English (written and spoken) and basic computer literacy
