Requirements
- OK1 to Chief Mate’s Certificate of Competency (STCW) valid for bulk carriers
- OK2 to Minimum 3 years sea service as Chief Officer or 2nd Mate on bulk carriers
- OK3 to Proficiency in cargo handling, stability and load‑line calculations
- OK4 to Valid medical certificate and English language proficiency (IMO level)
- OK5 to Familiarity with IMO, SOLAS and MARPOL regulations and electronic navigation systems
