The Chief Officer will be the second‑in‑command on a modern crude oil tanker, responsible for safe cargo operations and deck department management. You will work closely with the Master to ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies.
Daily duties include supervising loading and discharge of crude oil, monitoring tank pressure and inert gas systems, and conducting safety drills and inspections. You will manage the deck crew, maintain navigation equipment, and keep accurate records of cargo and stability. Reporting to the Master, you will also handle watch‑keeping and emergency response readiness.

Requirements
- OKChief Mate/Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (STCW) for oil tankers
- OKMinimum 3 years service as Chief Officer or 5 years as senior deck officer on oil tankers
- OKValid MED A medical certificate and seafarer’s identity document
- OKProficiency in cargo handling, tank cleaning, and inert gas system operation
- OKGood command of English, both written and spoken
