Daily duties include supervising the deck crew, planning and executing cargo stowage plans, and maintaining the vessel’s stability records. You will conduct safety drills, manage watch schedules, and inspect equipment for condition and certification. Reporting to the Captain, you will also handle documentation for port authorities and charterers.

Requirements

  • OKSTCW 95/96 Certificate of Competency as Chief Officer (or higher)
  • OKValid Medical Certificate and Seafarer’s Identity Document
  • OKMinimum 3 years experience as Chief Officer on a general cargo vessel
  • OKProficiency in cargo securing, stability calculations, and watch‑keeping procedures
  • OKGood command of English, both spoken and written
