Daily duties include welding and cutting metal components, fabricating and installing fittings, conducting routine inspections of deck equipment, and troubleshooting mechanical failures. You will also maintain accurate work logs and ensure all repairs meet classification society standards.

Requirements
- OK- Valid STCW Basic Safety Training and Certificate of Competency as Fitter/Welder (or equivalent)
- OK- Certified MIG/TIG welding qualification with at least 2 years shipboard experience
- OK- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- OK- Proficiency with hand and power tools, pipefitting and metal fabrication
- OK- Good physical condition, able to work in confined spaces and at heights
