Role details The recruitment team Recruitment is partnering with an established Ship Management company to recruit a Marine Operator for its Athens office.
Requirements
- OKPrevious seagoing experience, ideally as a Captain or 2nd officer
- OKAt least two years' shore-based experience within a relevant marine or vessel operations position
- OKPrevious experience as a Marine Operator, Marine Superintendent or within a similar operational role
- OKStrong knowledge of vessel operations, with dry bulk and cargo operations experience highly desirable
- OKStrong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with Masters and multiple shore-based departments
- OKThe ability to manage voyage, port and cargo-related operational matters in a fast-moving environment
- OKThe ability to work from the Athens office
- OKThe flexibility to undertake occasional vessel attendances, predominantly within Europe
