The Messboy supports the deck crew by maintaining the galley, mess area and crew accommodations on a modern container ship. You will work under the chief steward to ensure food service runs smoothly during voyages.
Daily duties include cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, washing dishes, assisting with meal preparation, and keeping the mess hall tidy. You will also handle waste disposal, restock supplies, and help with basic inventory checks. Additional tasks involve supporting the deck crew with minor housekeeping duties as required.

Requirements
- OKSTCW Basic Safety Training certificate
- OKFood Safety and Hygiene certificate (or equivalent)
- OKGood physical stamina and ability to work in a hot, humid galley
- OKBasic English communication skills
- OKAt least 6 months experience in a shipboard mess or similar hospitality role
