Employer notes
The Wiper will support the engine department on a 5,000‑gt general cargo ship that operates regional routes. You will work under the watch‑keeping engineer to keep the engine room clean and orderly.
Daily duties include sweeping and scrubbing engine spaces, removing oil and grease, assisting with routine inspections, and handling waste disposal as directed. You will also help replenish lubricants, check coolant levels, and report any irregularities to the senior engineer. All tasks are performed while following safety procedures and wearing required PPE.

Requirements
- OK- STCW Basic Safety Training (Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Fighting, First Aid)
- OK- Valid Seafarer's Identification and Record Book (SIRB)
- OK- Ability to perform manual cleaning and basic maintenance in engine spaces
- OK- Good physical condition and capacity to work in hot, noisy environments
- OK- Basic English communication skills
