Daily duties include monitoring engine performance, conducting routine inspections, and performing preventive maintenance on pumps, generators and fuel systems. You will troubleshoot faults, record technical data, and assist with watch‑keeping as required. Participation in safety drills and emergency response is also expected.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 2010 Basic Safety Training and Engine Room Rating Certificate (or equivalent).
- OKApproved 3rd Engineer Certificate of Competency with at least 2 years sea service on bulk carriers.
- OKValid Medical Fitness Certificate and recent drug test.
- OKProficiency with main engine, auxiliary machinery, and fuel oil transfer systems.
- OKGood English communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural crew.
