The Deck Cadet will join the deck department of an oil/chemical tanker operating international routes. You will support the Chief Officer and Master in maintaining safe cargo operations and vessel stability. Training will cover cargo handling, tank cleaning and emergency procedures.
Daily duties include standing watch on the bridge, assisting with navigation checks and maintaining logbooks. You will help with cargo loading and discharge plans under supervision, and perform routine deck maintenance and safety inspections. Participation in drills and reporting of any irregularities are also required.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 95/96 Basic Safety Training and Deck Cadet endorsement (CoC)
- OKGraduated from a recognized maritime academy with a BSc in Marine Transportation or equivalent
- OKNo prior sea service required, but basic watch‑keeping knowledge is expected
- OKProficient English communication skills, both spoken and written
- OKMedical fitness certificate (MED A) and ability to pass a drug test
