The 3rd Officer is a key member of the deck team on a Bulk carrier, responsible for navigation, cargo operations, and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of maritime regulations and procedures. The 3rd Officer will work closely with the Master and other officers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 3rd Officer's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, monitoring cargo operations, and performing safety drills and training exercises. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, and participating in cargo planning and loading/unloading operations. Additionally, the 3rd Officer will stand watch, monitor weather and sea conditions, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Requirements
- OKRelevant STCW/CoC certificate
- OK2 years of experience as a deck officer on a merchant vessel
- OKHigh school diploma or equivalent
- OKAbility to pass a medical exam and obtain any required visas
- OKProficiency in English language
