Daily duties include supervising the engine crew, monitoring performance of propulsion and auxiliary systems, and conducting planned and corrective maintenance. You will manage fuel consumption, oversee spare parts inventory, and handle technical documentation. Emergency response and troubleshooting of mechanical failures are also key responsibilities.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 2/2 Certificate of Competency to Chief Engineer (or equivalent)
- OKValid IMO 2020 compliant Engine Room Management System (ERMS) certification
- OKMinimum 5 years experience as Chief Engineer on AHT or similar vessel
- OKProven ability to manage a team of 4‑6 engine ratings
- OKGood command of English, both written and spoken
