The Master will command an Anchor Handling Tug (AHT) that supports offshore rigs, performs tow and anchor handling, and conducts emergency response operations. You will be responsible for safe navigation, cargo handling, and compliance with all statutory requirements.
Daily duties include planning and executing tow and anchor operations, supervising deck crew during mooring and offshore support tasks, and maintaining vessel stability and safety systems. You will conduct bridge watches, manage communications with shore and rig personnel, and ensure proper documentation of all voyages. The role also requires regular drills, equipment checks, and reporting to the company’s technical department.

Requirements

- OK1 to STCW 2010 Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- OK2 to Minimum 2 years recent experience as Master or Chief Mate on an AHT or similar offshore vessel
- OK3 to Advanced Fire Fighting and Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats certificates
- OK4 to Valid Medical Certificate (Class 1) and Drug‑Free Test certification
- OK5 to Strong leadership, navigation, and communication skills; proficiency with ECDIS and GMDSS
