The 3rd Officer will serve as a bridge watch‑keeping officer on a modern oil/chemical tanker, supporting navigation and safety operations. You will assist the Chief Officer in cargo planning and ensure compliance with IMO and flag state regulations.
Daily duties include maintaining the vessel’s navigation equipment, conducting passage planning, and standing watch on the bridge during designated periods. You will perform safety drills, monitor cargo tank conditions, and assist with tank cleaning and gas freeing operations. Reporting to the Chief Officer, you will also keep accurate logs and support emergency response procedures.

Requirements
- OKSTCW 95/18 basic safety and advanced fire fighting certificates, plus a valid 3rd Officer (Deck) CoC
- OKOfficer of the Watch (OOW) endorsement for tankers
- OKMinimum 12 months sea service on oil or chemical tankers as 4th/3rd Officer
- OKProficiency in ECDIS, GMDSS, and cargo management software
- OKGood command of English, both written and spoken
